AI Connectors & API

Bring your hiring data to the AI tools your team already uses. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Kaairo and ask about candidates, pipelines, and scores in plain language — privacy-safe by default.

Key Features

Works With Claude & ChatGPT

Add Kaairo as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT, sign in with your Kaairo account, and grant access to your organisation. No API keys to paste, no developer required.

Ask in Plain Language

"Who are the top candidates for the sales role?" "How is this cohort doing on communication?" The connector answers from your live data, ranked and counted the same way the Kaairo dashboard does.

Privacy-Safe by Default

By default the connector shares scores, phases, and pseudonymous candidate references — not names, emails, or personal text. Identifiable data requires an explicitly granted permission scope.

It Understands the Data Model

The connector teaches your AI tool how Kaairo works — phases, pools, competencies, and how the top candidate is actually determined — so answers match what your team sees in the app, not a naive reading of raw rows.

A REST API Underneath

Org-scoped endpoints for contexts, stats, candidates, individual results, and comparisons — the same data the connector uses, available to your own scripts and internal tools.

Enterprise-Grade Controls

Org-scoped keys with permission scopes, rate limits, and an audit trail. Access is re-checked against team membership on every call, and any connection can be revoked instantly from settings.

HOW IT CONNECTS

From settings to a working connector in three steps

A standard sign-in flow, not an integration project.

01

Add the Connector

In Claude or ChatGPT, add Kaairo as a custom connector. In Kaairo, connectors live under Settings, where owners control who and what can connect.

02

Approve Access

Sign in with your Kaairo account and approve the connection for your organisation. Access is scoped to that organisation, tied to your role, and revocable at any time.

03

Start Asking

Ask about roles, cohorts, and candidates in plain language. The connector answers from live data, interpreted the way the Kaairo dashboard interprets it.

WHY IT MATTERS

Your hiring data, where your thinking already happens

Teams increasingly do their reasoning inside an AI assistant — drafting plans, comparing options, summarising progress. Hiring data usually can't follow them there without exporting a spreadsheet, which is stale the moment it downloads and carries candidate personal data into a chat window.

The Kaairo connector closes that gap safely. Your assistant queries live, organisation-scoped data over a controlled connection: masked by default, permission-checked on every call, logged, and revocable. And because the connector describes Kaairo's data model to the assistant — what a phase is, how candidates rank, what a score means relative to the pool — the answers match what your team sees in the app.

When you want to go further, the same organisation-scoped data is available over a REST API for internal dashboards and scripts, and results flow to your ATS through ATS integrations.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI tools can I connect?

Claude (claude.ai) and ChatGPT both support Kaairo as a custom connector with a standard sign-in flow — you add the connector, authorise it against your Kaairo organisation, and start asking questions. Developer tools such as Claude Code can also connect directly. Support on the AI tool's side depends on your plan with that provider.

Is candidate data safe when an AI tool is connected?

The connector is privacy-safe by default: it returns scores, assessment progress, and pseudonymous candidate references rather than names, emails, or personal text. Identifiable data is only available behind an explicitly granted permission scope. Every connection is bound to one organisation, re-checks the member's role on each call, and can be revoked at any time.

Can the AI take actions, or only read?

Primarily read: pipelines, stats, candidate scores, and comparisons. Selected pipeline actions, such as shortlisting, are available as reversible operations — anything done through a connector can be reviewed and undone by your team in the app. Connectors cannot delete data or change organisation settings.

Do I need a developer to set this up?

No. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT is a click-through flow: add the connector, sign in, approve access. The REST API is there when your team does want to build something custom — the connector and the API expose the same organisation-scoped data.

Why not just export a spreadsheet and paste it into an AI tool?

A pasted export is a stale snapshot with no access control — and it usually carries personal data straight into a chat window. The connector queries live data, applies your organisation's permissions on every request, masks identifiable fields by default, and logs access. You get better answers, from fresher data, with far less exposure.
