WHY THE RECORD MATTERS

Compliance training is a records problem

General information, not legal advice.

POSH

Section 19(c) requires workshops and awareness programmes at regular intervals; the Internal Committee's annual report counts them. The roster shows who each programme reached.

DPDP

Most duties start on 13 May 2027: notice, consent, security safeguards, breach reporting within 72 hours, erasure. The people handling data need to know them.

Fire and workplace safety

The OSH Code requires factories, mines, docks, construction and plantations to give employees the training and supervision their safety needs.

Codes of conduct, anti-bribery, infosec

Policies in an induction pack are the ones nobody can prove were read. A quiz gate and a completion record fix that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is POSH training mandatory in India?

Yes, in the form the Act describes: every employer must run workshops and awareness programmes at regular intervals (Section 19(c)). Fines run up to fifty thousand rupees, doubled on repeat. General information, not legal advice.

How often should POSH training be conducted?

The Act says 'at regular intervals' and sets no frequency. The Internal Committee's annual report counts the programmes held each year.

Can we add our own policy?

Yes. While the programme is a draft, add your policy as source material and generate a chapter from it, or edit any chapter.

Does the DPDP Act require employee training?

No, neither the Act nor the Rules prescribe one. Training is how people learn the duties that start on 13 May 2027. General information, not legal advice.

What record is kept?

Per person: status, dates, chapters passed, attempts, average score, deadline status, department, as a CSV, plus a certificate of completion with your logo.

Does the certificate prove competence?

No. It certifies completion. Competence is assessed on Kaairo's assessment side, against a standard.

Can training be in Hindi and other Indian languages?

Yes. Add languages before publishing; your team checks each translation; quizzes are graded against the English. Narration is English.

Do we need the hiring or assessment products?

No. Training runs on its own, on the Professional plan and above, switched on per organisation on request.
